Cuna de Piedra Comalcalco Tabasco with La Lupulosa Beer 73% (Limited Edition)

$15.00

For the development of this edition, Cuna de Piedra chose to experiment with La Lupulosa beer, from their Tijuana-based friends at Cervecería Insurgente. La Lupulosa was one of the first IPAs made in Mexico, and is made with large amounts of American hops that give it an intensely fruity and citrusy personality. When thinking about what a chocolate bar with La Lupulosa would be like, Cuna de Piedra imagined an experience of brilliant flavors making a parallel journey with notes of chocolate, so they decided to work with cocoa from Comalcalco, Tabasco and roast it with a moderate profile to highlight these characteristics and obtain a pleasantly citrusy and very fragrant tablet.

Maker Information

Cunda de Piedra Comalcalco is a group of Mexicans who are passionate about cacao. Its mission is to raise the quality of life of everyone involved in the process, from those who grow and harvest the land, to those who consume their bars.
